First Renders – One Story House Zero
A one-story house is a minimal House Zero. It can accommodate 1-2 people. On 35 m ^ 2 of the building there is everything you need for a comfortable life. A separate bedroom, a comfortable and equipped kitchen, two work places, a living room with a sofa and a projector, and a bathroom. The minimum amount of space is not a problem if it is conveniently and functionally designed.
Building Designs Are Ready
In our Zero House assemblies, we took minimalism and simplicity as the basis. However, some of the design decisions were related to the laws of physics. In order to build a self-sufficient house in the Polish climate, you need to solve two fundamental problems that overlap in winter – providing heat without burning anything, and ensuring a supply of water that will allow you to survive the dry winter months. The amount of heat needed depends on the area and insulation of the building. That’s why Zero Houses are small and extremely well insulated. The building area is limited to 35 m ^ 2 and it also gives you the opportunity to build a building on your own and without waiting for a building permit.
